We conduct regular tours of the rain centre. The tours and tour timings are listed below.

Tour Details:

The tour is for about 30 to 45 minutes. The details of the tour are as follows:

1. On arrival at the Rain Centre, you will be requested to sign in at the guest book. You wil be given a tour pamphlet that describes the various points of interest in the Rain Centre.
2. The tour itself is self-conducted and self-paced following the points in the pamphlet. This will consist of points of interest both inside and outside the building.
3. After completion of the self-conducted tour, please stop inside, check with the Rain Centre staff for more information on RWH specific to your needs. We will provide you with all the information you will need to install RWH in your house or location.
4. All services provided other than water testing is free of charge. To prevent misuse, there will be a nominal charge of Rs. 20/- for testing the water from your house.

As an added incentive, visitors to the Rain Centre can bring details about their house, flat complex and other buildings. We will provide specfic RWH design help, where to get the materials, where to get the masons and other help.

Packaged Tours:

We can conduct packaged tours customize for the needs of various individuals and institutions. Please contact our office ahead to setup schedule.

• Homeowners: You are welcome to visit the Rain Centre at any time when it is open. Certain presentations describing RWH in Chennai will start every 30 minutes, on the full hour and on the half-hour.
• Builders & Masons: We will arrange once-a-week special seminar for builders. We will provide specific building construction details to include RWH systems.
• School Children: Special exhibits showing the importance of water in our everyday life, where water comes from, how to conserve it will be available at the Rain Centre.
• Private Corporation: If you are looking to evaluate installation of RWH at your company locations, we can conduct a tour and also show you case studies of other companies where RWH systems have been installed.

Cost:

All normal tours to the Rain Centre are free of charge. Our mission is to spread the message and benefits of RWH.

Cost for packaged tours will be determined based on size of party.

Tour Timings:

Rain centre will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on all days. The timings are to accomodate both working and non-working Citizens of Chennai. Weekly tour timings are listed below. Holidays and other special events can be found under the news flash section.
